Consolidated Gulf Company (CGC) has launched business process outsourcing (BPO) services for corporates.
CGC chief operating officer Anil Mahajan announced the company’s BPO venture in Doha at the weekend. Ravi Raman, Oryx Advertising vice president and CGC’s BPO Services BU head Avinash Mathew were among others present.
Mahajan said: “Our BPO unit has accumulated all wherewithal required to expand out and capitalise on our solid infrastructure, trained personnel, domain expertise and vast experience to serve the industry.
“The BPO will offer multi-lingual services in Arabic, English and other major languages across several industry verticals, providing operational excellence, customer support services, deep industry and functional knowledge to critical business processes. These will allow clients to focus on core competence.”
CGC BPO services would benefit clients in various industries – retail, insurance, banking and financial services, telecom, media, publishing and entertainment sectors, hi-tech and manufacturing, public utilities and healthcare.
The company will also offer various areas of operations including supply chain management, finance and accounting services, knowledge services, customer relationship management, technical and HR support services.
Raman said: “We are proud to be among the first clients of CGC BPO. They have developed a robust, scalable and customer centric programme for our subscription services.” read more
